In addition to importing, AutoLetter also lets you export your orders as a CSV file. This is useful for analysis, backups, or further processing in other systems like Excel, Google Sheets, or your CRM.
Navigate to Integrations and open the integration whose orders you want to export. The export is done per integration -- so you can specifically download the data from a particular data source.
Click the Export or Export as CSV button. AutoLetter creates the CSV file with all orders from this integration.
The finished CSV file is automatically made available for download. Save it to the desired location on your computer.
The exported CSV file contains all order data that AutoLetter has stored for the respective integration:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Order ID | The internal or external order ID |
| Order number | The order number from the source system |
| Order date | Date and time of the order |
| Order amount | The total amount of the order |
| First name | Customer's first name |
| Last name | Customer's last name |
| Customer's email address | |
| Company | Company name (if available) |
| Street | Street of the delivery address |
| House number |
The CSV file is encoded in UTF-8 format and uses comma or semicolon as the delimiter. It can be opened directly in Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet applications.
Create regular backups of your order data, independent of AutoLetter. This way, you always have a local copy of your customer data.
Import the CSV file into Excel or Google Sheets to run your own analyses -- e.g., order volume by time period, revenue by region, or customer analytics.
Use the exported data for other marketing tools, CRM systems, or internal processes that are not directly connected to AutoLetter.
Compare the data imported into AutoLetter with the original data in your shop system to ensure that all orders were synchronized correctly.
If you want to combine data from multiple integrations, export the CSV files individually and then merge them in a spreadsheet application. This way, you maintain the association with each data source.
