Each customer in AutoLetter has a detailed profile that bundles all relevant information in one place. From contact details to order history to sent letters -- here you will find everything you need to know about a customer.
To open a customer profile, click on the desired customer in the customer overview. The profile expands as an extended view showing seven sections you can review.
The contact details section shows the customer's basic information: name, email address, company, phone number, and birthday (if available).
Contact details are only manually editable for customers from CSV or API sources. Data from shop integrations like Shopify or Billbee is automatically synchronized and cannot be changed directly in AutoLetter.
Here you can see which data sources this customer came from. A badge is displayed for each source (e.g., "Shopify: My Store", "Billbee", "CSV Import"). A customer can come from multiple sources if AutoLetter has automatically merged the records.
AutoLetter distinguishes between three address types:
Before creating a campaign, check whether the letter address is correct and complete. Incomplete addresses result in letters that cannot be delivered.
This section lists the customer's orders. By default, the last 10 orders are shown; older ones can be expanded. For each order, you see:
Click on an order to view the individual products with SKU and product title.
The statistics tiles give you an overview of the customer's purchasing behavior:
Here, the five most frequently ordered products by this customer are listed. This helps you understand the customer's preferences and target campaigns to their interests.
In the last section, you can see all campaigns this customer has participated in, as well as the individual letters:
Use the campaign overview in the customer profile to check whether a customer has already been contacted before adding them to a new campaign.
If you want to edit customer data from CSV or API sources, you will find a detailed guide in the article on editing customer data.
