Not every message fits on one page. AutoLetter supports letter templates with up to 16 pages -- ideal for detailed product catalogs, comprehensive offers, or multi-page newsletters.
At the bottom of the editor, you'll find the page navigation. Here you can see thumbnails of all existing pages and a page counter (e.g., "Page 1 of 2").
Click the plus icon (+) next to the existing pages to add a new blank page at the end. The new page appears immediately in the navigation.
Click a thumbnail in the page navigation to switch to that page. The active page is highlighted.
To copy an existing page (e.g., when you want to use a consistent layout across multiple pages), you can duplicate the page. The copy is inserted after the original and contains all elements of the template.
Pages you no longer need can be removed via the context menu. Page numbering adjusts automatically.
AutoLetter supports 1 to 16 pages per template. The first page is subject to DHL print requirements with reserved zones. All subsequent pages can be freely designed -- only page margins apply.
An important difference between page 1 and all subsequent pages:
| Page 1 | Pages 2-16 | |
|---|---|---|
| Sender field | Reserved (23 x 85 mm) | Freely designable |
| Postage zone | Reserved (85 x 16 mm) | Freely designable |
| Recipient field | Reserved (85 x 21 mm) | Freely designable |
| Page margins | Yes (top 2.3 mm, left 12 mm, right 2.3 mm, bottom 2.3 mm) | Yes (same margins) |
Use subsequent pages for the main content of your letter. Page 1 has less space for your design due to the DHL zones -- place important content, detailed product descriptions, or large images on pages 2 and beyond.
Note that the number of pages in your template affects shipping costs:
Before designing, consider whether you can fit the information more compactly on fewer pages. Each additional page increases the cost per sent letter. A well-designed single page can often be more compelling than a four-page letter.
