AutoLetter protects you from unexpected costs: as soon as the campaign budget is used up, sending stops automatically. You will incur no additional costs beyond the defined budget.
When your budget is exhausted, the following happens:
No additional costs are incurred. AutoLetter does not exceed the budget you set. The sending stop takes effect automatically -- you do not need to do anything manually.
In the dashboard, AutoLetter shows you the budget status of your campaigns using color coding:
| Color | Budget Utilization | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Under 60% | Everything is fine, sufficient budget available |
| Yellow | 60--90% | Budget is running low, will be exhausted soon |
| Red | Over 90% | Budget is almost or completely exhausted |
Watch for the yellow indicator: it gives you the opportunity to increase the budget in time before sending stops.
AutoLetter offers two budget types:
Limits daily spending. When the daily budget is reached:
Limits the total spending of the campaign. When the total budget is reached:
You can adjust the budget at any time:
Sending will automatically resume after the increase -- you do not need to manually restart the campaign.
Check your budget regularly, especially for recurring campaigns. A budget that is set too low can result in potential recipients not being contacted because the budget runs out mid-campaign.
